October Wrap Up

Hello bookworms! How are you all? First things first, I want to explain my absence across my social medias. I’ve been busy stressing over my November exams and studying that I have no motivation to actually post on my blog and Instagram or to tweet or Twitter. Although I do promise to be back after my exams (hopefully) and we’ll see about next year.

Also hooray to me for getting this wrap up on time ahaha. I have somehow made it a bad habit to post the previous month’s wrap up extremely late.

Despite my overload of stress this month, I’ve surprisingly read a few books. I actually thought I’d only get through one or two books this month, but I ended up reading 7 books and am in the midst of two. Here are my current reads and my ratings for them:

Fireblood by Elly Blake ★★★★✩

Nightfall by Jake Halpean and Peter Kujawinski ★★★✩✩

The Missing Guardian by Melanie McFarlane ★★★★✩

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon ★★★★✩

Splintered by A. G. Howard ★★★★✩

Moonrise by Sarah Crossan ★★★★✩

Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland ★★★✩✩

October Reading Wrap Up

I’m still on my semi-book buying ban… technically I didn’t buy any books, except for preorder one.

I received my preorder of Not Your Villain by C. B Lee and Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo at the start of the month and I’m excited to read both of these books. I also received A Taste of Blue Light by Lydia Ruffles from Hachette Australia (Thank you guys!!) and I’m intrigued by the synopsis.

Next month, I’ll probably end up binge buying books… with the excuse of my birthday ahah. Here’s hoping my TBR doesn’t go out of control next month.

October Haul

So I’ll probably still not be around as much in November due to exams, but I’ll try my best to show my face every once in a while. I’ve been trying to get back into Twitter and Instagram but you have no idea how hard that is *sweatdrops*

I’m also currently reading Labyrinth Lost and No Plain Rebel and I’m hoping to finish them before October ends, but I’m not too stressed about that. I haven’t been able to read in a week or two and it makes me sad.

Anyways, that’s all I have for you today. Have you read any of the books mentioned above? Did you enjoy them? How many books did you read in October?
