May Wrap Up & Haul

Hello friends! May has been SUPER busy for me, so I haven’t had any time to read or blog. But with my SACs/tests ending, I hope I can get back into writing some more blog posts for you all, and to read some of my review books. I had so many blog post ideas, but never got the chance to write up the posts.

Anyways, I spent most of May studying, and read mainly manga because they’re easier to get through. However, I did read two novels, both of which I enjoyed thoroughly. Despite feeling like I didn’t read much, I had a good reading month since nothing was below four stars (Hooray!). Without further ado, here are the books I read in May:

Fairy Tail Volume 21 by Hiro Mashima ★★★★✩

Fairy Tail Volume 22 by Hiro Mashima ★★★★✩

Fairy Tail Volume 23 by Hiro Mashima ★★★★✩

The Gentlemen’s Guide To Vice And Virtue by Mackenzie Lee ★★★★★ (actual rating: 4.75 stars)

Leah On The Offbeat by Becky Albertalli ★★★★✩

Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card 3 by CLAMP ★★★★✩

This month, I hauled 5 books, which is fair enough since I didn’t haul anything last month. I received my preorder of Leah On The Offbeat this month (and devoured it immediately because I love the Simonverse). I also ordered the 3rd volume of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card and the first volume of Fruits Basket. I’m excited to read Fruits Basket, because I ADORE the anime.

I also received To Kill A Kingdom from Allen & Unwinded for review and A Thousand Perfect Notes (one of my most anticipated reads) from Hachette. I can’t wait to read both of these, hopefully within the coming months!

I also received an arc of Reign of Mist from Helen Scheuerer which I will be reading and reviewing soon! I’m so excited to dive back into this world, and if you haven’t read Heart of Mist by Helen Scheuerer, then you SHOULD go do so immediately. You can also check out my review of Heart of mist here.

Tell me, what have you read in May? What was your favourite read? What books did you haul?
