WINTER 2018 TBR BOOKS

Hello friends!! Since some of you are probably in the midst of summer now, let me explain my title. I am from Australia and right now, it’s freezing cold winter *cries*. I do love winter, but it’s just been so cold that I just want to stay indoors all day instead of facing the cold climate. But enough about me being bitter that you all are summer, today I’ll be showing you guys what I want to read by the end of the winter season.

Sooo, in June, I may have went to my library and borrowed a lot of books… 8 books to be exact. To be fair, 5 of them are manga. So they’re all going onto my TBR along with some other books – so all in all, this TBR will probably be over-ambitious. By the time this post is up, I’ll probably be in my winter/Term 2 break so I’ll probably get through most of these.

Anyways, without any further ado, here are the books that I’m planning to read this winter:

LIBRARY BOOKS (8 BOOKS):

  1. The Poppy War by F. R. Kuang
  2. They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera
  3. Gap Year In Ghost Town by Michael Pryor
  4. Fairy Tail Volumes 28-32

PHYSCIAL BOOKS (5 BOOKS):

  1. Sky In The Deep by Adrienne Young
  2. Grace & Fury by Tracy Banghart
  3. The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
  4. Fruits Basket Vol. 2 by Natsuki Takaya
  5. Trick by Natalia Jaster

EBOOKS (2 BOOKS):

  1. Reign of Mist by Helen Scheuerer
  2. Mirage by Somalia Daud

All in all, there are a total of 15 books I want to read throughout this winter season. I know it seems a lot, and I probably won’t get through them but at least I’ll have some choices to what I want to read. I’ll definitely read some of my anticipate reads on this list such as The Poppy War and Sky In The Deep.

What books do you guys want to read this summer/winter? Do you set a TBR for yourselves?

  1. I usually only set TBRs for readathons, but I’m taking two summer classes and for one of them there are 12 children’s books that I need to read, so I set a TBR for that class.
