#ASIANLITBINGO TBR

Hello, and yes I am here with another Asian-related tbr. I’m hoping to read lots of Asian books this month to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

This month, I’m co-hosting the bingo challenge with some lovely Asian bloggers and we’d be delighted if you’d join us. They’ll also be prizes so come and join in the fun. For more information and details, you can check out the LitCelebrasian announcement post, but I’ve included the bingo sheet below for your reference.

I have decided to attempt the first vertical bingo column this year, and will merge my Asian Readathon tbr with this challenge (since I also want to focus on uni). And without any further ado, here is my TBR for this challenge (also I’ll have more than one book for some challenges to give myself options):

  • East Asian MC

The Girl King by Mimi Yu (South Korea)

Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han (South Korea)

Rebel Seoul by Axie Oh (South Korea)

  • LGTBQIAP+ Asian MC

Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan (Chinese-Malaysian)

  • SFF with Asian MC

Jade City by Fonda Lee (Chinese)

The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco (Filipino)

  • Graphic Novel with Asian MC

I’ll probably read a manga for this because because I’m in the mood for manga ahah

  • South East Asian MC

Seven Tears At High Tide by C. B. Lee (reread // Chinese-Vietnamese)

The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi (Filipino-Indian) (this is half SE Asian, so I’m counting it loosely ahah)

Cloudwish by Fiona Wood (Vietnamese)

Let's talk

I have no idea if I’ll complete a bingo but it’ll be fun and I’m excited to read a lot of these books, here’s hoping my tbr can go down a bit after this. Will you be participating in this challenge as well? Are there any particular books by Asian authors that you’re excited to read?
